How can the Business Education Department help you? What if you were told that, to be employable, you had to know how to communicate using a computer terminal? Could you keyboard? Could you react to computer commands? Job opportunities with almost unlimited chances for advancement exist in the accounting, information processing, administrative support, and distributive education fields. Employers are continuously looking for conscientious, well-qualified, highly-trained employees in the business world. Survey after survey reaffirms that employers desire workers who can spell, compose, communicate, keyboard information accurately, and who have a proper attitude about themselves and an understanding of the business world.
The Business Education Department of Sun Prairie Senior High School is organized to contribute to the education of students in three ways: specific vocational education, general education for all, and preparation for college. The Business Education Department has two networked computer labs.
In planning a program to fit different student needs, it is best to think in terms of a program rather than just enrolling in separate courses as you progress.
