Internet Content Filtering

The federal Children’s Internet Protection Act requires school districts that receive federal funding to comply with Internet Filtering. The Sun Prairie Area School District provides this service.

  • Hate Groups
  • Humor
  • Obscene and Tasteless
  • Personals
  • Public Proxies
  • Pornography
  • R-Rated
  • Other sites may be blocked at the discretion of the school district.
Request to block a site:
Teachers are asked to report objectionable sites that have not been blocked by the filter, to the Supervisor of Technology, for immediate consideration. 
 
Request to unblock a site:
School district employees may request that a site be considered for access by submitting a Help Desk ticket.
