| 2011 Milk Break Fund |
| There will again be some Kindergarten children who do not have milk available to them for their Milk Break. The problem is a gap in the government lunch program that pays for breakfast and lunch but does not pay for the milk at the Milk Break.
The cost of a child's Milk Break per year is approximately $63.00. Of the $1250 needed, we currently have about $500 in donations. If we can get enough families to each contribute a portion of this cost, we can cover this gap. If you cannot personally help, perhaps you know of a business or church group that would like to donate. Any monetary donation is welcome.

There are currently 20 Kindergartners who need this assistance although the number is likely to go higher.
Please DO NOT SEND any milk products to the school. They would not be able to be used.

| CAFE Meeting Dates |
| Dates have been set for all CAFE meetings for the 2011-2012 school year. They are Sept 27, Oct 25, Nov 29, Jan 31, Feb 28, Mar 27, Apr 24 and May 29. Meetings are at 6:30PM. The location is still TBD - more to follow. |

Creekside Association of Families and Educators (CAFE) is the parents organization for Creekside Elementary School. We promote the education and welfare of our students by sponsoring school community events, fostering communication among families and educators, mobilizing volunteers, and providing direct assistance to classrooms.
CAFE can be contacted through About CAFE or via email at info.cafespwisc@gmail.com. Someone checks CAFE email at least once a day.
