News for the 2014-2015 School Year

CAFE Vice President and Volunteer Coordinator
CAFE is still looking for two people to fill board positions. The Vice President handles meetings if the President cannot make it and assists with coordinating fundraisers. The Volunteer Coordinator handles setting up volunteers for different CAFE and school events. Please consider helping in thr support of our school!
Book Fair - November 10th-14th, 2014
The Book Fair is back and stronger than ever! Come on in and take a look through oodles of books and pick your favorites. It will be open all week during school hours as well as Thursday night during conferences. Stop on by!
Elementary School Sizing Committee
The School Board has put together a committee to address the over capacity issue in our elementary schools. They are looking for individuals from each school to be part of that committee. If interested in representing Creekside, please contact Jillian Block for more information.
CAFE Share Nights
CAFE will be working with Sun Prairie area restaurants to have a Share night where a portion of all sales that night are donated to CAFE. Look for announcements for Share Nights at Market Street Diner and others in the near future.

CAFE has scheduled other events for the rest of the school year: *November 5th - Book Club* December ?(date TBD) - Public Library CS Night* January 13th - Cuddle Up* January 24th - Jump Rope For Heart* February 20th - International Festival* March 24th - Gymnastics Night* April 15th - Publishing Celebration* May 29th - Celebrate Creekside* Look for details for each event as they draw closer!
CAFE Meeting Dates
Dates have been set for all CAFE meetings for the 2014-2015 school year. They are Sept 23, Oct 28, Nov 18, Jan 27, Feb 24, Mar 24, Apr 28 and May 26. All meetings are held in the LGI room at the school from 6:30 - 7:30. Child care is provided.

Creekside Association of Families and Educators (CAFE) is the parents organization for Creekside Elementary School.  We promote the education and welfare of our students by sponsoring school community events, fostering communication among families and educators, mobilizing volunteers, and providing direct assistance to classrooms.
