Amnesty International is a global movement of people fighting injustice and promoting human rights. In 1977 AI received the Nobel Peace Prize. AISPHS works to educate the community about human rights and take simple but effective action to end human rights abuses around the world.

Drama Club is intended to engage students in threatre appreciation activities throughout the school year. Students involved in Drama Club take field trips to see theatrical performances all over the Madison area. Drama Club members also support dramatic students productions and forensics competitions at the high school Finally, Drama Club members participate in activities designed to enhance their understanding of theatre and improve their roles in theatrical productions.

Forensics is a competitive speech and drama club. Students get the opportunity to improve and showcase their speaking and acting skills. Competitions are held on select Saturdays from January to April around the state. The club meets from September through May.

The Gay-Straight Alliance strives to assure that each member of our school community is valued and respected, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. German Club encourages students with common interests in the German language and culture to associate with each other and supplement class with related activities. German Club raises funds for German Day and travel abroad. Activities include decorating a Homecoming window, selling German candies and calendars, co-sponsoring an international dinner and German Day, and taking a trip to the folk fair.

Go is an ancient board game which originated in China. The SPHS Go Club meets weekly to learn and enjoy the game, teach new players, and get stronger on the board.

This club is for anyone interested in having a good time and talking about historical events and current political topics. There are movie nights where everyone getstogether, eats pizza, and watches historical movies. The History Club also co-sponsors The Battle of the Bands.

| HOSA-Health Occupation Students of America |
HOSA is a national student organization that promotes interests in health careers and provides leadership opportunities. Students can participate in the fall leadership conference, in various competitions during our spring state conference which occurs at Chula Vista Resort in the Dells and participate in other various school events like window painting during homecoming. Every year students can participate in community service projects like, Special Olympics, Project Linus blankets or making layettes. Open to all 9th-12th grade students interested in the Health Care field.

Insanity Club is designed to provide students in grades 8-12 the opportunity to work out before school. The workout program is designed to lead students through a wide variety of workouts and help students improve their fitness level. The purpose of the Jazz Ensembles is to introduce students to jazz and to provide opportunities to learn and perform various styles of jazz. | Math League |
Math Team is a club in which teams of students go to different schools in the Madison area to compete against students from other schools. At each meet, individuals take a mental math test, individual math test, and a group test with their team. Each meet tests on a different subject or theme of high school mathematics. At the end of the meet, those with high scores are awarded with medals or ribbons. Math Team can be a very fun way to meet other students from your school and other schools in the area.

| Mock Trial |
The SPHS Mock Trial is a club for those interested in legal careers and exploring the trial process. Team members are cast into lawyer and witnesses working through preparing a case to present in a real court room. The team practices from September to February working with volunteer lawyers and other legal officials. Our team will scrimmage other schools in the state and compete in the Wisconsin State Bar Mock Trial Competition beginning in February. Students are encouraged to take the social studies elective Legal Studies and Criminal Science to help prepare for team competition.

| National Honor Society (NHS) |
National Honor Society, a national organization founded in 1921, recognizes and encourage academic achievement and characteristics essential for good citizenship. The Sun Prairie High School NHS is a local charter of the national organization. NHS membership is granted to SPHS seniors who meet requirements in these four areas: Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service. NHS members perform a minimum of twelve service hours per semester, serve as student role models demonstrating a high level of character, and exhibit leadership within the school. Otaku Anonymous is a club that meets one to two times a month. As a club, we get together to study many aspects of Japanese culture, mainly anime. A meeting typically starts off with learning some Japanese phrases and practicing the newfound knowledge in a dialogue. Then the rest of the meeting is taken up with watching an episode or two of anime; suggestions are encouraged since everybody's opinion is valued. If you're a lover of anime, this is the place for you!

The S.A.D.D. mission is to provide students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the serious issues young adults are facing today. The idea of empowerment is to build students confidence and ability to create changes and manage behavior in a way that results in healthy life choices. S.A.D.D. promotes a message of "No Use" of alcohol or other drugs and encourages students not to participate in activities with destructive consequences. S.A.D.D. offers life lessons that will lead members well in the 21st century.

Ultimate Frisbee Club is intended to engage students in the sport of ultimate Frisbee throughout the school year. Students involved in Ultimate Frisbee Club play ultimate weekly in Sun Prairie with teammates during early autumn and spring. Ultimate Frisbee Club members also compete with Madison-area highs school ultimate teams in scrimmages and league play. Finally, Ultimate Frisbee Club members study the game of ultimate, commit to improving their skills as players of ultimate, and maintain the spirit of the game philosophy on and off the field.
